Description: Sol Y Sombra is a detached villa in a peaceful location offering a traditional Spanish style. The villa sleeps 6 - 8. This first line sea view villa is located on the stunning cliffs above Granadella bay. The main villa boasts 2 double bedrooms, a living/ dining room and naya with sea views -(outdoor covered terrace with table and chairs). 46' flat screen high definition LCD TV. English television via 2.4 metre dish and Sky box. Spanish digital channels with German and French channels via a separate satellite dish. There is a fully equipped kitchen and utility with all appliances incl dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave oven etc. The master bedroom has an en-suite and there is a family bathroom. On the lower level of the villa there is a further twin bedroom, small kitchen, a living area and a shower room - can accommodate 2 further beds if required. Sat TV also available. Please note the lower level accommodation has a private entrance. Wifi throughout.

Villa Sol Y Sombra is located in Costa Nova close to Granadella, Javea and overlooks the Mediterranean. The setting is beautiful and tranquil yet the nearest facilities are only 1km away and only 5km from the Arenal sandy beach with all its shops, bars and restaurants. Javea is situated at the base of the Montgo natural park. It is the most easterly point on Mainland Spain at the northern end of the Costa Blanca, approximately 95kms from Valencia and 90 kms from Alicante.
Further Details: Bring your laptop as one megabyte Wifi internet access is provided. There are several shops within walking distance for basics including English and international newspapers and magazines, fresh bread, milk etc. A well stocked international supermarket (supervalue) is within a few minutes drive. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance of the Villa and countless others in and around Javea. Every type of food is available from Indian and Chinese to authentic tapas bars and fine dining. Prices range from 8 euros per head upwards for the menu del dia. English breakfasts are always available at the Arenal beach and elsewhere. The Villa is set in the most picturesque area of Javea and the Miradors (Viewpoints) are all within several minutes drive and even a short walk, of the Villa. You may, if you wish, use our bicycles to tour the local area. There are a great number of beautiful walks in the local area taking you to spectacular and unforgettable viewpoints.
Banks with cashpoints are all over the town. Javea boasts a great variety of shops from large supermarkets to designer boutiques. Additionally for even more retail therapy you can visit the new shopping centre at Ondara (25 minutes) where there are cinemas showing English language movies and a ten pin bowling alley. Javea is famous for its sporting facilities and caters for Golf, Tennis, Scuba diving, bowling etc etc. There is golf at Javea Golf and the La Sella courses, both within easy reach. There are two tennis facilities within minutes of the Villa and many more around Javea. Tennis coaching is available from world class coaches including the brother of David Ferrer, the world number five. Water sports are well catered for with courses for sailing and sail-boarding, Jet ski and speed boat hire and charter of larger craft from Denia Marina. Pleasure boat cruises are available from Javea Marina with opportunities to stop and swim in the beautiful and sheltered bays along the coast.
Coast/Beach The villa is set directly above Granadella Bay and it is possible (For competent swimmers) to swim off the rocks directly below the villa. However Javea's most beautiful cove, Granadella is just 5 mins drive away and the sandy beach at the Arenal (very suitable for children) is within 10 mins drive. Golf Javea Golf, 9 hole course, 15 minutes by car. La Sella Golf and Spa, 20 minutes by car. There are many other courses such as Oliva Nova at a greater distance.
